I had the privilege this week of writing the weekly "Faith Matters" column in the Jamestown Gazette, and with all the negatives about the coronavirus on our minds I decided to remind people what "corona" really means and to emphasize some positives.
"Corona" simply means "crown," and even though our national leaders don't wear crowns because they aren't royalty (no matter what a few of them seem to think), the idea of a crown is almost a daily thought for most of us.
Although the Jamestown Gazette serves Chautauqua County, NY and Warren County, PA, this article focuses on what we can do anywhere to crown people around us with blessings at Christmas time. Read "Give Yourself a Corona Christmas" and bring tidings of comfort and joy wherever you can this season.
